Arkansas State University’s Esports team invited Riverside High School to their brand new Esports HQ on campus. The teams started off by scrimmaging (League of Legends) against each other and the A-State players coached the RHS students according to their positions. Next, the A-State team played online against a random team and showed Riverside’s team tips and strategies to use against other highly skilled teams. Riverside’s Esports team was able to learn so much from the opportunity. The Astate coach even gave up tips on how to begin streaming our games, so Riverside fans can watch online. The team is very thankful for ASU’s support and willingness to share with them. Riverside’s hope to eventually see more former Rebels on one of the A-State Esports teams. Currently, Riverside alumni Nick Hayes is on their Fortnite team.
